    The Lane College Dragons are set to take center stage during the 2025 SIAC Football Media Day, kicking off with a strong presence both on and off the field. The annual event  offers teams from across the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference a platform to spotlight their programs ahead of the upcoming season.

    The Dragons will begin their Media Day experience with a community service initiative on Monday July 14, showcasing the team's commitment to leadership beyond the gridiron. Head Football Coach Stanley Conner, Assistant Coach Jerrell Cogmon, and standout student-athletes Maliek Williams and Jeremiah Malbroue will proudly represent Lane College during the community outreach event. Their involvement highlights the Dragons' dedication to service,character, and engagement-a reflection of the college's core values.

    "Being able to give back is a critical part of our program," said Coach Conner. "We want our young men to understand that leadership starts with how you treat others. This is a moment for us to connect, to inspire, and to serve."

    On Tuesday July 15, the focus shifts to the media spotlight. Lane College will participate in a full day of interviews, photo shoots, and filming sessions as part of the SIAC's official Media Day activities. Representing the Dragons in their Home uniforms.  Williams and Malbroue will discuss team goals, offseason preparation, and their excitement for the upcoming season. Coach Conner will also speak on the program's direction and their experience in what is shaping up to be a competitive SIAC football landscape. 

    Media Day serves as a critical moment for every program to build momentum, and Lane College is arriving with pride, purpose, and poise. With a focus on discipline, unity, and execution, the Dragons are poised to make a statement in the 2025 season- starting with their presence at Media Day.
