ATLANTA, Ga. – Freshman running back
Ike Brown headlined the 2021 All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Football All-Conference team for Lane, earning this year's Freshman of the Year award. The Dragons had a total of seven selections among five players on this year's team.
Brown, who was also named First Team running back, finished with 641 yards rushing and was second in the league in touchdowns with 11.
Michael Huntley was named First Team quarterback after directing a Dragons offense that led the league in pass efficiency and first downs. Huntley completed 65% of his passes for 1,644 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Senior wide receiver
Anthony Evelyn earned First Team at both wide receiver and returner. Evelyn led the league in all-purpose yards with 1,624 and accounted for eight total touchdowns and two 2-point conversions.
Andrew Farmer was the lone defensive selection after being named Second Team defensive lineman. The Jacksonville, Fla. native was tops in the league in sacks with 11.5 and finished with 54 total tackles from the defensive end position.
Terrence Jordan was named to the Second Team offensive line. Jordan anchored an offensive line that produced the number two scoring offense in the league (30.6 ppg) and number three in yards per game (394.3).
