            1^st Half: The Lady Dragons scored the first four points of the game to get the momentum early as both teams battled for a 14-14 tie after one quarter of action. The Lady Dragons got hot in the second quarter led by Freshman Destiny Irvin as she drained the bottom of the net from long range on four trips down the court. The Lady Dragons took a 35-26 lead into half time.

            2^nd Half: The Lady Dragons outscored the Lady Badgers in the 3^rd quarter 16-13 to extend their lead 51-39. In the final quarter the Lady Badgers attempted a comeback outscoring the Lady Dragons 15-14. The comeback was not enough to close the gap and the Lady Dragons picked up the conference victory 65-54.

By the numbers: The Lady Dragons collected eight points on second chance opportunities as they out rebounded the Lady Badgers 38-31. From the field the Lady Badgers connected on 17 of 47 shots (36.2%) and added 16 of 27 (59.3%) from the charity stripe. They placed four players in double digits in scoring led by Elise Reilly. For the Lady Dragons they connected on 24 of 57 shots (42.1%) from the field and dropped in 10 of 16 shots (62.5%) from the free throw line. The long range bombs were on target for the Lady Dragons as they connected on 7 of 9 attempts (77.8%) from three-point land. Destiny Irvin led all scorers with her 15 point performance. Tashara Jones added a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Back in action: Two important conference games on the road face the Lady Dragons as they travel to Frankfort, Kentucky for a battle with the Thorobrettes (8-10 Overall 4-5 Conference) from Kentucky State University. The road trip continues to Wilberforce, Ohio as they face the SIAC Western Division leading Lady Marauders (12-5 overall 7-2 Conference) from Central State University on Wednesday night.
