The four-day event brought together many of the top women's basketball players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), providing participants with advanced skill development, competitive live play, professional instruction and networking opportunities designed to prepare student-athletes for success both on and off the court. The camp also offered players the opportunity to compete alongside elite talent while learning from experienced coaches and basketball professionals.
Lain, a native of Bryant, Arkansas, enters her senior season as one of the Dragons' most experienced and reliable guards. During the 2025-26 campaign, she averaged 11.0 points per game, shot 40 percent from the field, while showcasing her defensive versatility by recording 45 steals and 15 blocks throughout the season.
Her invitation to the HBCU Elite HoopHer Camp reflects not only her individual accomplishments but also the continued growth of the Lane College women's basketball program under Head Coach
