Dragons Host Tuskegee University in Home Opener

    The smell of fresh cut grass, the sound of a well hit baseball off the bat, and the enjoyment of watching America's pastime is coming to Jackson. Three weeks into the baseball season the Dragons finally get to play before a home crowd. Due to early season rain-outs the Dragons found themselves playing their first fifteen games on the road. Weather permitting the Dragons will open up the home portion of the season with a double header against Tuskegee University on Saturday March 19. This not only will be the home opener for the Dragons, but the games will be played at "The Ball Park at Jackson" formerly known as Pringles Park home of the Jackson Generals. The Generals are the Double A minor league team of the Seattle Mariners.  We invite everyone out to the Ball Park to support the Dragons baseball team. Gates open at noon and the first pitch is scheduled for 1 PM. Faculty, Staff and Students get free admission with a valid Lane College ID. Admission for all others will be five dollars at the gate. The park is located at 4 Fun Place, Jackson, TN. See you at the Ball Park!
