Box Score Lady Dragons Unload on the Tigerettes

The Lady Dragons scored a matching 46 points in each half to pick up a big victory over the Lady Tigerettes (Is it Tigerettes or Lady Tigers???) from Tuskegee University 92-51.
The Lady Dragons scored early and often in the first half of the game to jump out to a nice lead. The Lady Tigerettes (same question) scored their first basket at the 18:24 mark, trailing 5-2. The next basket would be added to the scoreboard at the 10:38 mark with the Lady Dragons leading 20-4. The Lady Dragons continued to add to their lead over the course of the half carrying a 46-15 lead into intermission.
The second half was more of the same as the Lady Dragons continued to connect on basket-after-basket for another 46-point half. The Lady Dragons connected on 11-of-13 (84.6%) shots from the free throw line in the second half to maintain their lead. The Lady Dragons placed six players with double-digit points in the game.
Chloe Roberts led the scoring with 16 points as
Crystal Rayford collected 12 points and 12 rebounds,
Ciera White added 12 points as
Shadarian Beasley,
Taren Fisher, and
Tiffany Martin add 11,10, and 10 points each. With the victory the Lady Dragons improve to 2-13 overall and 2-7 in the SIAC.
The next contest for the Lady Dragons is a road trip to Tuscaloosa, AL to face the Lady Tigers from Stillman College.
