The Lady Dragons hosted the Lady Bulldogs from Fisk University at J F Lane Gymnasium. In the first few minutes of the game, the Lady Bulldogs capitalized on five turnovers resulting in a quick 8-0 lead. After a timeout and a regrouping period, the Lady Dragons were able to make a short run to cut the score to 10-7 at the 15:45 mark. The momentum did not last long as the Lady Bulldogs built a 18-point lead going into halftime leading 42-24.

The second half wasn't as fast paced as the Bulldogs outscored the lady Dragons 28-27 in the second half for a 70-51 final score. The Lady Bulldogs were led in scoring by Janine Davis and Rashida Ademosu with 18 points each. For the Lady Dragons, Crystal Rayford led the team with12 points, while Jordan Cain added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The Lady Dragons will travel to Memphis, TN to take on conference foe LeMoyne-Owen Lady Magicians on Saturday January 25. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM at the gymnasium on LeMoyne-Owen campus.
