Offensive Player of the Week
Chris Rini – Lane         Hometown         Murfreesboro, TN

Accomplishments           Chris Rini led the Dragons offense in the 37-34 OT victory over Morehouse. Rini connected with 7 different recievers for 192 yards passing and 2 TD. He also added 20 yards rushing and a TD. He completed 22 of 34 passing and one interception.

Accomplishments           In a substitute role, Hamilton rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns. He carried the ball 32 times for a 5.2 ypc average. He helped the team convert 3-of-5 fourth-down chances and score on 5-of-7 chances in the Red Zone.

Accomplishments           Anchored a Wildcat offensive line which accounted for 306 yards of total offense. Rated out at 94% in blocking execution.
 
 
Special Teams Player of the Week
Justin Rosenbaum - Fort Valley State              Hometown         Owosso, MI

Accomplishments           Rosenbaum was a perfect two of two in field goal attempts by connecting on a 47-yarder for the game's opening score and finishing the game's scoring on a 38 yard effort late in the fourth quarter. As a punter, on six attempts he averaged 42.7 yards. His longest effort was a 57 yard boot. He landed one punt inside Benedict's 20 yard line and had one touchback.

Damian Ford – Stillman          (Senior – Wide Receiver)
Accomplishments           six catches, 144 yards, two touchdowns ... 60-yard catch and run in first quarter, 3-yard TD reception in second
 
David Grace - Clark Atlanta  (Senior – Wide Receiver)
Accomplishments           Grace finished with 85 receiving yards and one 39-yard TD reception.
 
Floyd Graves - Miles  (Junior – Running Back)
Accomplishments           Rushed for 126 yards and one TD with a long of 57 yards in Miles road win over Albany State.  He also caught 2 passes for 10 yards during the game.
 
Christopher Slaughter - Fort Valley State    (Senior – Wide Receiver)
Accomplishments           His five receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns (receptions of 9 & 13 yards) led the Wildcats to a 33-10 over Benedict.
 
Justin Williams - Kentucky State       (Sophomore – Running Back)
Accomplishments           Against Stillman, Williams rushed for 101 yards on 21 carries, averaging 4.8 yards per carry and scoring KSU's only touchdown of the game.
 
Antwon Freeman – Lane         (Sophomore – Defensive Back)
Accomplishments           In his first start of the season Freeman collected 13 total tackles (7 solo) and a OBH to help the Dragon Defense in the 37-34 OT victory.
 
Reginal Virges – Miles             (Junior – Linebacker)
Accomplishments           Intercepted two passes returned for a total of 42 yards.  Also had four total tackles during the game
 
Carlos Ware - Kentucky State              (Senior – Defensive End)
Accomplishments           Ware had seven total tackles, including 3.5 sacks for a loss of 27 total yards. He also had a breakup. His 3.5 sacks mark a career-high.
 
Lance White – Morehouse     (Sophomore – Linebacker)
Accomplishments           White collected 10 solo tackles and 3 assists, for a total of 13 tackles.
 
Bernard Williams - Clark Atlanta     (Sophomore – Linebacker)
Accomplishments           Williams recorded a team-high eight tackles including three for a loss of 33 yards and two sacks.
 
Dajuan Williams - Fort Valley State (Senior – Free Safety)
Accomplishments           Game-high tackler with total of nine. Finished with eight solo stops and one assist. Three of his tackles were for a total of 11 yards. Williams also had to pass breakups.
 
Julius Charles – Lane                (Junior – Linebacker)
Accomplishments           Charles returned to the Dragons defense after two weeks due to injuries. Charles collected 11 total tackles (6 solo) and a QBH to help the Dragons defensive unit. Charles made some key stops on 4th down late in the game that helped the Dragons victory.
 
Eric Childs – Stillman                               (Freshman – Linebacker)
Accomplishments           nine tackles (five solo)
               
Leron Furr - Fort Valley State              (Junior – Linebacker)
Accomplishments           Tallied six tackles with one tackle for a loss of two yards.
 
Se'Cortney Gardner - Clark Atlanta (Freshman – Linebacker)
Accomplishments           Garder recorded eight tackles including four solo tackles and one for a loss.
 
Marlon Jones – Morehouse  (Senior – Center)
Accomplishments           Jones was a key blocker in an offense that totaled 391 yards, convert 3-of-5 fourth-down chances and score on 5-of-7 chances in the Red Zone.
 
Austin Casillas - Clark Atlanta            (Junior – Punther/Kicker)
Accomplishments           Casillas had 218 yards on six punts and averaged 36.3 yards per game.
 
David Castillo – Lane                (Freshman – Kicker)
Accomplishments           Castillo nailed down the Overtime victory for the Dragons with a 22 yard field goal. He had connected for 4 of 5 PAT's prior to his game winning kick. He also added 6 kick-offs for 342 yards.
 
Patton Chambers – Miles       (Junior – Kicker)
Accomplishments           Made two of two field goal attempts (35 and 25yds) and averaged 49.8 yards on six kickoffs.
 
Samuel Gilmore – Morehouse            (Senior – Kick Returner)
Accomplishments           Gilmore returned 3 kickoffs for 100 yards.
 
Alejandro Huerta – Stillman                (Senior – Kicker)
Accomplishments           3-3 PATs, field goals of 45 and 41 yards
 
Josh Owens - Kentucky State                                (Junior – Punter)
Accomplishments           Owens, the Breds new punter, had five punts for 143 yards against Stillman, averaging 28.6 yards per punt with a long of 46 yards.
