ATLANTA, Ga. - Lane College's Elijah Greer Dawson has been named to the Preseason All-SIAC Team, following a standout 2024–25 campaign that established him as one of the premier players in the conference.

Dawson, the reigning SIAC Newcomer of the Year, was a force for the Dragons last season, averaging 16.8 points per game across 18 appearances, 17 of them starts. He tallied 303 total points, shooting an efficient 44.4% from the field while adding 83 made free throws at a strong 76.9% clip. His offensive skill set was matched by his all-around contributions, as he averaged 4.1 rebounds, dished out 72 assists (4.0 per game), and picked up 39 steals, showing his ability to impact the game on both ends of the court.

In addition to his scoring and playmaking, Dawson brought toughness and consistency, logging over 30 minutes per game and anchoring the Dragons' lineup. His versatility makes him a key piece in Lane's push to climb the SIAC standings in 2025–26.
