ATLANTA, Ga. - The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced their weekly awards on Tuesday and Lane College's Cynthia Koech was named Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Koech participated in the Michael Pretorius Memorial hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University at Percy Warner Park this past Saturday. Facing a competitive field that included Division I programs, Koech finished as the top DII runner with a time of 19:26.2. The finish was good enough for 8th place overall.
Koech will lead her squad again this weekend in Blue Mountain, Miss. at the 2025 Topper Trails Meet.
