Kiprop, Koech lead the way for Lane in Nashville

Nashville, Tenn. – The Lane College men's and women's cross country teams competed at Percy Warner Park on Saturday in the Michael Pretorius Memorial hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University. Facing a competitive field that included Division I programs, the Dragons showed resilience and steady pack running, highlighted by several individual breakthroughs.

Men's 8K Recap

The Lane men placed 6th overall (2:38:15 total time, 31:39 average) in the 8K race.

The men showed good pack running, with their top four separated by just over 3:30, an encouraging sign as they aim to tighten their spread in upcoming meets.

Women's 5K Recap

The Dragons placed 5th as a team (1:52:01 total, 22:24 average) in the women's 5K, led by a standout front-runner performance.
