Softball places four on All-Conference Team

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced its yearly softball honors on Thursday and four Lane players were named all-conference.
 
Raelynn Lee was named First-Team Outfielder, Millay Lambert was First-Team Utility Player, Savanna Johnson was First-Team Designated Player, and Kaylee Stinnett was Second-Team Catcher.
 
Lee, a senior from South Bend, Ind., led the league in hitting and was fifth in the nation with a .489 average and was first in the league in total hits with 68 which set a new school record. She ranked fourth in the SIAC in on-base percentage at .523, second in sacrifice bunts, and third in stolen bases with 23.
 
A junior from Florence, Ala., Lambert was second in the league in hitting and eighth in the nation with a .477 average. She trailed only Lee in hits with 63. She was second in the SIAC in on-base percentage (.541), fourth in slugging (.712), and first in triples (6). She set a new school record for runs in a season with 51.
 
Johnson, a native of Blue Mountain, Miss., was third on the team with a .442 average. The junior had 34 RBI and slugged .533. She led the team in walks with 17 and carried a .518 on-base percentage.
 
Stinnett, a freshman from Las Vegas, Nev., slashed .421/.651/.513 in her debut season. She collected 21 extra base hits including 15 doubles while leading the team with 41 RBI. She carried a .978 fielding percentage and threw out 13 baserunners.
