Football announces 2021 signing class

JACKSON, Tenn. | Head football coach Vyron Brown announced 17 players who signed national letters-of-intent on Wednesday, the first day of the NCAA signing period.
 
The class is comprised of 16 high school signees and one junior college transfer. 

Brown's home state of Louisiana produced the most signees with six, followed by three players each from Alabama and Mississippi, two from Florida, and one player each from California, Kentucky, and Arkansas.

In all, Lane's 2021 class includes eight recruits on offense and seven on defense with two athletes who could see time on either side.
 
Lane stocked up on lineman in this cycle, signing five on the offensive side of the ball and four on defense.

The national letter-of-intent signing period for football began on Wednesday, Feb. 3, and will run until Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021.
