JACKSON, Tenn. | The Lane College football team will travel to Alabama this Saturday for a showdown with SIAC West rival Tuskegee. The game will be aired on the ESPN family of networks as part of a multi-year deal between the sports media giant and the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Due to COVID-19 protocols on the campus of Tuskegee University, visiting fans will not be allowed to attend.
"We're glad our fans will get a chance to see us play on ESPN since they will not be able to attend in person," said head coach Vyron Brown. "We have had a great following on the road all year and I know our fans will be with us in spirit."
The last matchup between the two teams took place in 2019 with the Golden Tigers taking the contest 29-10.
Lane dropped a close game with Miles last week, 34-31. Tuskegee pitched a road shut-out last Saturday, blanking Central State 29-0.
The game is scheduled to kickoff at 1:00 PM and is available on ESPN+.
