Box Score BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (October 21, 2017) - Again, the offense showed up in the second half, scoring 13 unanswered points.
And again, the clock was Lane College's downfall as the Dragons ran out of time, falling 23-13 on the road against the Golden Bears of Miles College.
The Dragons ran for 228 yards in total, with quarterback Marcus Reynolds accounting for 124 yards on the ground and a touchdown. He also added 78 yards in the air. Running back Marcus Holliday chipped in 76 rushing yards and accounted for the other Dragon touchdown to start the comeback, late in the third quarter.
On the other side of the ball, defensive end Brayce McKenzie finished with 7.5 tackles, three for loss and one sack. Strong safety Charles Dudley Jr. added seven tackles, all solo, while middle linebacker De'Michael McQueen finished with seven tackles, six solo.
Lane College returns home for the final two games of the regular season, starting this Saturday when they host Kentucky State University. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
