Maurice Alexander (Chicago, IL) added 13 points connecting on 4 for 8 shots from the field and 4 of 5 from the free throw line.
Joseph Cooper also hit double-digit numbers with 5 of 13 from the field and 2 of 2 from the line for a total 12 points. For the Thorobreds, Tryston Ford led the scoring attack with 20 points followed by Julius Barton with 13 points.
The Dragons travel to Wilberforce, OH to take on the Marauders from Central State University on Feb. 1 before returning back home for a rematch with Spring Hill College Badgers on Feb. 8. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM at J F Lane Gymnasium.Â
