Dragons (Week 1-1)
Game One: Spring Hill College (Mobile, AL)
The Dragons started the week of conference games with a loss to Spring Hill College Badgers (80-78).

James Caldwell led the Dragons scoring with 17 points connecting on 5 of 6 opportunities from 3-point area, and 2 of 2 from the charity stripe. Kendarius Ash added 14 points, while Terrance Bridgeman and Joseph Copper contributed 14 and 10-points respectively.

Game Two: Kentucky State University (Jackson, TN)
 The Dragons defeated the Thorobreds of Kentucky State University 91-74. 

 Junior guard Terrance Bridgeman (South Bend, IN) connected on 6 of 9 shots from the field and 7 of 9 from the free throw line to lead the Dragons with 20 points. Freshman forward Kendarius Ash (Decatur, GA) connected on 4 of 7 shots from the field and 6 of 10 from the free throw line for his 14 points while leading the Dragons with nine rebounds. Junior Maurice Alexander (Chicago, IL) added 13 points connecting on 4 for 8 shots from the field and 4 of 5 from the free throw line. Joseph Cooper also hit double-digit numbers with 5 of 13 from the field and 2 of 2 from the line for a total 12 points. For the Thorobreds, Tryston Ford led the scoring attack with 20 points followed by Julius Barton with 13 points.

The Dragons travel to Wilberforce, OH to take on the Marauders from Central State University on Feb. 1 before returning back home for a rematch with Spring Hill College Badgers on Feb. 8. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM at J F Lane Gymnasium.
