Box Score Lady Dragons Shock the Lady Magicians
 
On February 7, 2015 the Lane College Women's basketball team defeated highly favored LeMoyne-Owen College by as score of 63-62.  LeMoyne-Owen's team came in with nine wins and just two defeats in conference play. The Lady Dragons came out strong in the first half outscoring the lady Magicians by 4-points (36-32) going into the half time break.
 
 In the second half, the Lady Magicians came out to try to win the game, having four players score double digits on Saturdays contest. Their efforts were not enough to stop the momentum that the Lady Dragons had built. Lane College's Chloe Roberts had a huge game scoring a career high 29 points. The Lady Dragons took advantage of some nice shooting from the free throw line in the second half connecting on 8-of-9 for 88.9%.  The game was very tight, but at the end the Lady Dragons were able to hang on for their third victory of the season.
 
 Lane College Women's Basketball team will be back in action on February 9, 2015 to take on the Lady Thoroughbreds of Kentucky State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 pm at J.F. Lane Gymnasium. Go Dragons!
