Box Score Dragons (Week 1-0, Overall 1-0, 0-0 SIAC)

The Dragons traveled to Nashville, TN to take on the Bulldogs of Fisk University for the season opener. A hot night of shooting allowed the Dragons to come home with a 98-85 victory.

The Dragons had five players to reach double digit points led by Jeremy Whitmore with 21. Jason Price added 19 and Tony Payne had 17 points as Sha'Mar Nolen and Jared Kinsey chipped in 12 and 10, respectively. Bryant Hill collected eight rebounds to lead the Dragons.
The Dragons connected on 20 of 31 shots in the second half to extend the half-time lead. They also used critical free-throw shots late in the game shooting 17 of 32 for 53 percent to seal the victory.

The Dragons will travel to Milwaukee, WI to participate in the Fresh Coast Classic over the Thanksgiving Holiday. They have contest scheduled against Central State University and Winston-Salem State University during the two days of competition.
