Lady Dragons Fall to Lady Tigers
            The Lady Dragons hosted the Lady Tigers from Stillman College in SIAC basketball action. From the opening tip-off, it looked as if this could be another exciting game for the Lady Dragons. In the first few minutes of the game, each team hustled up the court swapping baskets trying to establish an early lead for either team. Midway in the first half, the Lady Tigers went on a 14-0 run where the Lady Dragons just could not seem to get anything to fall through the net. That run established a lead that the Lady Dragons could not overcome going into half time trailing 36-24.
            The second half was more of the same for the Lady Dragons as the shots were not falling their way. The Lady Tigers were led in scoring by Ashley Kidd with 16 points. For the Lady Dragons, Marissa Stewart led the team with 9 points and 6 rebounds on the evening. The Lady Dragons host the Lady Tigers from Tuskegee University for their next basketball action on January 26 with a 5:30 p.m. scheduled tip-off.
