JACKSON, Tenn. (February 18, 2019) - After coming back to tie the game at 46 with just over seven minutes to play, the Spring Hill women's basketball team relied on their main scorer in the post to hit crucial free throws in the waining minutes, to keep the Lady Dragons out of striking distance, as the Lady Badgers picked up a 61-56 win over Lane College in the final regular season game at J.F. Lane Gymnasium on Monday evening.
Senior guard
Antrice McCoy, as she has done so many times this season, led the Lady Dragons in scoring with 13 points.
Chasity Moore finished just behind her with 12 points while
Porche' Hannah was one point shy of a double-double, finishing with nine points and 13 rebounds.
The Lady Dragons play the waiting game right now as they head to the SIAC post-season tournament in Birmingham, Ala. They know they are guaranteed a spot in the tournament, but are unsure, depending on how the other teams finish the regular season, on who and when they will play. The tournament from the Birmingham Crossplex begins on Monday, February, 25.Â
