JACKSON, Tenn. (January 21, 2019) - The Lane College women's basketball team led for the majority of the game against the visiting Lady Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University on the holiday celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, but fell late, 45-40 at J. F. Lane Gymnasium.

Senior guard Antrice McCoy led all Lady Dragons with 16 points in the loss. Forward Porshe' Hannah had six points and a team-leading eight rebounds. 

The team is back in action this weekend when they head on the road to take on SIAC foe Kentucky State University this Saturday. Tip off is set for 2 p.m. CST.
