Lady Dragons pick up win over Lady Bears

JACKSON, Tenn. (January 19, 2019) - Sophomore guard Cierra Brown led all Lady Dragons as she finished with a season-high 12 points as Lane college knocked off visiting Miles College 52-39 on Saturday afternoon at J.F. Lane Gymnasium on the Lane College campus.

Trailing by a point after the first ten minutes, the Lady Dragons outscored their opponents 19-10 to take a eight-point lead heading into the locker room. Former SIAC Newcomer of the Week Addie McNeely also finished in double-figures, knocking in 10 points while Chasity Moore ended with a season-high 11 rebounds. The Lady Dragons are back in action on Monday when they take on Tuskegee University. Tip off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
