JACKSON, Tenn. (September 8, 2018) - Lane College led the majority of the first half until Morehouse took their first and final lead with 35 seconds left in the second quarter, 14-12. The score would remain the same for the majority of the third quarter until the Maroon Tigers would show their offensive prowess, en route to a 42-20 victory Saturday at Lane Field.

The Dragons rushed for 153 yards and picked another 106 in the air but gave up 12 first downs and 243 yards passing to Morehouse with all five of their scores coming in the air.

Senior quarterback Marcus Reynolds was 11-for-16 with a touchdown passing. 

Running back Joshua Jeffery finished the game with 146 yards rushing with the first two Lane College touchdowns, the first being a 58 yard run to put the Dragons on the scoreboard and the second to retake the lead 12-7 in the second quarter.

Lane College remains at home this Saturday when they host Livingstone College at Lane Field. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
