Anthony Blackmon

Blackmon returned to the Lane College Family after an outstanding playing career with the Dragons where he received All-Conference honors as a defensive back.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in physical education from Lane, Coach Blackmon spent two years at West Carroll High School as co-special team's coordinator while also coaching the defensive secondary and running backs.

While at West Carroll, the War Eagles made back-to-back state quarterfinals appearances, the first such in school history.

Blackmon prides himself in community involvement. He works with multiple summer camps and is a fixture in sports camps held in West Tennessee. He has spent time training young athletes and serves as a mentor, focusing not just on improving as an athlete, but also becoming a better man.
