Dragons stay unbeaten with win over Spring Hill

MOBILE, Ala. — Lane College remained perfect on the season Tuesday evening, using a commanding second-half performance to pull away from Spring Hill for a 64–49 road victory inside the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center. The win moves the Dragons to 4–0 overall and 3–0 in SIAC play.

Despite trailing by three after the opening quarter and by one at halftime, Lane outscored the Badgers 36–20 over the final 20 minutes and shot 50% in the third quarter and 61.5% in the fourth, flipping the momentum with suffocating defense and relentless attacking in transition.

Lane trailed 31–30 early in the third before a defensive outburst changed the game. Brown buried consecutive threes as part of an 11–2 run that pushed the Dragons ahead 38–31 — a lead they would not relinquish. Lane forced 29 turnovers, converting them into 26 points, while holding Spring Hill to just 27% shooting in the fourth quarter.
