Richardson named SIAC Field Performer of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its track and field weekly honors, released by the league office on Tuesday. Jordan Smith (Albany State) and Kiyah Pittmon (Albany State) were named this week's men and women Track Athletes of the Week, alongside Sundiata Washington (Tuskegee) and Diamond Richardson (Lane) who collected this week's men and women Field Athletes of the Week honor. Field Performer of the Week – Diamond Richardson, Lane
Richardson, a junior at Lane, recorded two wins in the shotput and discus events at the Harding Bison Open last week in Searcy, AR. She won the shot put with a throw of 13.77 meters, a personal record. Additionally, she won the discus with a throw of 43 meters, also a personal record.
