O'Neal named SIAC Player of the Week

ATLANTA - The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced sophomore infielder
Chris O'Neal was selected as its Baseball Player of the Week for the week of May 2.
The Barnsville, Ga. native, O'Neal was a spotlight for Lane during the final week of the 2018 regular season. He stretched his stat line with a .500 batting average hitting 5-of-10. He finished out the weekend with four home runs and five hits in three games, three of four homers were three-run. He finished with 10 RBI for the week along with six runs scored and 17 total bases.
O'Neal and the Dragons begin their post-season run on Thursday afternoon when they take on host and No. 1 seeded Albany State at 4 p.m. in Albany, Ga.
