MEMPHIS, Tenn. (February 17, 2018) - Trailing by only two possessions coming out of the locker room, Lane College was poised to make a comeback and spoil the senior night festivities at SIAC rival Lemoyne-Owen College Saturday evening in Memphis.

But the Lady Dragons struggled to make baskets while the host Lady Magicians made the most of their offensive possessions, keeping Lane at bay in the third quarter before pulling away in the last 10 minutes en route to a 54-45 win.

Chloe Roberts led the Lady Dragons with 11 points while senior center Ashley Gayle pulled in 10 rebounds.

Lane College heads south for their final game of the regular season when they travel to Mobile, Ala. on Wednesday to take on Spring Hill College before heading to Birmingham, Ala. to compete in the 2018 SIAC Championship Tournament starting next Monday. Tip off from Mobile is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CST.
