JACKSON, Tenn. (October 13, 2018) - Reggie Walker Jr., the voice of the Lane College Dragons football team, could not stop raving about how well the defense performed in a 13-3 win over visiting Allen University after the homecoming win on Saturday afternoon, especially the play of senior defensive end Cameron Brown, declaring Brown his "Player of the Game."

And rightly so, as Brown finished the game with a team leading eight total tackles, five unassisted, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. 

Both teams struggled offensively, combining for less than 500 yards of total offense. Senior quarterback Marcus Reynolds led both teams with 80 yards rushing. He also had two touchdowns passing, one to senior wide receiver Ahmad Isaac from ten yards out with just under three minutes left in the first half and the other to freshman running back Ryan Whitaker three minutes into the fourth quarter.

The Dragons round out the home portion of their 2018 schedule this Saturday when they host conference rival Miles College.
