Lady Dragons comeback falls short on road

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (January 20, 2018) - The Lady Dragons erased a 16 point second period deficit to cut the Lady Golden Bears lead to one in the third quarter, but the comeback fell short as Miles College took the 62-58 win over Lane College on Saturday afternoon in Birmingham, Ala.
Chloe Roberts picked up a double-double in the loss, finishing with a team-leading 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Kristy Armwood and
Rickera Martin both finished in double figures, finishing with 11 points apiece.
The Lady Dragons stay in Alabama for the weekend as they travel to take on Tuskegee University on Monday evening. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
