Late turnover costs Dragons win on the road

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (January 20, 2018) - Trailing by two with three seconds left, a timely steal by Mile College cost the Dragons a chance to win or tie as the Golden Bears picked up a big Western Division win as they held off a late surge from Lane College picking up a 73-71 win Saturday afternoon in Birmingham, Ala.
Junior forward
Kendarius Ash picked up his 10th double-double of the season, finishing with a team-high 20 points and 18 rebounds.
Myles Lee contributed 15 points while
Terrace Holt added 14 points, shooting 50 percent from three-point range.
The Dragons head to Tuskegee University tonight as the take on the Golden Tigers Monday evening. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. or directly after the conclusion of the women's contest.
