JACKSON, Tenn. (December 6, 2017) - Midway through the second half, Ai'Shontis Sanders squared up at the top of the key and nailed a 3-pointer. That gave Lane College its first lead since they led 3-0 to start the game.
But that lead was fleeting as the Dragons fell late to the visiting Buccaneers of Christian Brothers University, 64-54, Wednesday evening at Oman Arena.
Senior guard
James Caldwell had a season-high 22 points while junior forward
Kendarius Ash picked up a team-high 15 rebounds.
Sanders and senior guard
Jade Patrick both chipped in eight points in the loss.
Lane College is back in action this Saturday when they host Morehouse College. Tip off is set for 4 p.m. at JF Lane Gymnasium.
