Lady Dragons fall late to Lady Rams

JACKSON, Tenn. (December 30, 2017) - The Lady Dragons took a 42-35 lead into the break but struggled in the third quarter from the field and the fourth quarter comeback fell short as Lane College dropped a heartbreaker at home to the visiting Albany State University 70-66 Saturday afternoon, 70-66, at JF Lane Gymnasium.

Destiny Irvin continued her hot streak from behind the arc, finishing with a game-high 24 points off 7-9 shooting from 3-point range.
Two other Lady Dragons finished in double figures with Antrice McCoy adding 14 points and
Mariah Hopkins finishing with 10 points on 4-5 shooting from the field.
Lane College continues SIAC conference play on New Years Day with a match up against Fort Valley State in Jackson. Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m. at JF Lane Gymnasium.
