ALBANY, Ga. (May 4, 2018) - The Lady Dragons' pursuit of a championship in this year's SIAC post season tournament is very well alive, after Lane ended Tuskegee's season after knocking off the Golden Tigerettes, 11-3 in the second game of the day on Friday.

Senior pitcher Mice'la Ross gave up three runs, two earned off eight hits in a complete five game outing. Ross also fanned two in the game while walking only one.

The game remained tied at 3 apiece until Lane took the lead in the top of the fourth but blew the game wide open in the top of the fifth, scoring seven runs to institute the mercy rule after Ross took care of the final three batters in the bottom of the frame.

Raven Shoulders finished the game 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. JaiMesia Parks went 2-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored. Ericka Webster was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored and Breanna Glass finished the game 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.

The Lady Dragons will try to stay alive to play in the championship loser's bracket on Saturday morning when they face off against Claflin University at approximately 5:30 p.m. EST today.
